Barberry may have gotten old, but she still keeps her garden growing. She even finds time to can some more jams to snack on. The cheese plants have turned out well through the winter in the indoor planter boxes.
Springs are busy with the outdoor garden taking off and so many money trees have blossomed from the seeds she has planted toward the end of fall. Barberry still hasn’t been able to find anything to help with the harvesting of her crops.
Siobahn hosts parties every other day with Barberry attending several of them to hang out with her friends. Both the elderly ladies enjoy chatting about their lives.
On one trip to the consignment store to drop off Barberry’s latest harvest, she finds an abandoned green dragon. Barberry ends of stealing it and taking it home with her. Plum had been lost so now she had the green Path. Path ends up being very usefully in that she can harvest and grow the garden with her special abilities.
Barberry achieved her life-time wish of Living in the Lap of luxury with the latest sells from the consignment store. She’s worth over $100,000.
Barberry turned in the outstanding cheeses that she had grown for additional money from the grocery store as well as learning how to grow steak plants, which she will try out when she gets home.
The garden keeps Barberry busy through the summer even with the help of Path. But she did have her largest sell come through as well. Path also enjoys chats about the garden so she doesn’t miss her friends too much.
Barberry still finds time to socialize. She had deliveries to some new people and made a new friends of Aiden Dwyer-O’Connell.
Barberry has started to fish out of her water wheel well when she gets up early before starting her day of gardening. She tends to pull out the large fish that some how find their way underground to her water wheel.
The colors of fall ways bring smaller harvests from the garden as the chill sets in, which lets Barberry have time to fish more. She went late to find another death fish.
The Dwyer-O’Connells hold several parties where Barberry ended up making friends with their oldest son Patrick. He seems to find Barberry very interesting.
“The sweet man gave me the first flowers anyone has given me and I like him.”
And you old enough to his mother. But yeah, the only sim that’s ever given you flowers. Not even Daric did that.
With winter approaching Barberry busy a new coal stove and a wood stove to increase the variety of foods that she can cook from her produce. And upgrades have her getting the handiness skill to level 9.
Barberry is getting up there in her old age and loves the rocking chair. She also has done well with her reputation at the consignment store. She is worth $156,511.
It comes to the sad day that Death comes for our Farmer Barberry Stirrings right when she was going to enjoy a bowl fresh made mac’n’cheese. At the end she was worth $165,920.
The snow was finally gone from Dragon Valley and Barberry went searching for a few new seeds to try out. She found a few to take home and plant in the rain.
Barberry had a busy spring. She hung out with Siobahn Murphy-Finnigan during one of her trips to the consignment store. She had her bills on time. And worked hard on her garden making sure new plants were in place.
Barberry had a birthday and became a full adult. She was pretty pleased with herself and is currently happy enough with her farming life that there was no mid-life crisis for her.
Barberry really wanted to learn the nectary making skill, so after she grew some grapes she got to practice on learning something new to add to her farming life. She did end up with too batches through the first was a terrible nectary.
She did earn plenty from her crops enough to reach over $25,000 and then wanted more funds. And the cash crop for Barberry is mushrooms.
Barberry had been wanting a hot tub to relax in and with the last batch sold, she earned enough to have the cheapest hot tub that we could find. She found it had a happy dancing before getting in.
Barberry took time on the Love day holiday to pick flowers and attend the party that Daric was throwing. She also stole a kiss from him and then a dragon egg from him.
The egg hatched a purple dragon, but Barberry did have her garden to tend so he was named Plum and left in the house.
Barberry spent her days farming. Between tending to the her crops and selling them she was doing well on her income now specially with the prices of mushrooms. Barberry went fishing for fun and fertilizers for her garden between tending to the plants and end up delivering fish and produce to some of the individuals in Dragon valley. Her most common delivery is to Shauna O’Connell.
Barberry has two pets to feed as well. Her fish Dana which is the first tragic clown fish that she caught and then Plum the purple dragon. Dana didn’t live too long as she was floating in her bowl after a party one day.
And the farm prospered with the largest income coming before the end of summer. Once again the mushrooms are a gold mine for her. Plum was there for her to chat with if she needed more company and the summers quickly passed. And she earned all of the gardening challenges.
In the fall, Barberry hurried to the last of the crops in and make a transition to her house pots for the some food and money through the cold winter that it’s coming up. She even found time to visit the fall festival to pick up her pumpkin to carve and had a fun time in a apple bobbing contest.
The first frozen breath on all the outdoor plants occurred on fall holiday and she was invited to Daric’s costume party which she accepted. There was even time to watch the stars and discuss the gardening again.
Barberry has progressed past salads in her home grown food and now is enjoy spaghetti from her perfect tomatoes. But she had also lost Plum to an unforeseen problem, so she’s without any pets. She does enjoy fishing on the last warm day of the year before the snows move in.
Barberry did a lot of fishing in the winter months. Enough to say that she caught all kinds of fish even through there were still some species that she hadn’t seen yet. She also was able to master the fishing skill.
Nearly every day Siobahn called to invite Barberry to a party that she was having. Barberry did attend a few sometime she was just to tired and smelly to go to a party. But Siobahn is one of the few friends that she does have around town.
Barberry’s elder birthday snuck up on her and she wasn’t very happy about getting old. She ended the evening with a drink at the local pub.
Barberry took up canning her left over fruits so that they would last and she has some nice tasty jam to eat too. So that she has something to do as her indoor garden doesn’t take as much time with the fewer plants that she’s growing.
Barberry caught the elusive death fish one winter evening. Now, I believe she’s caught all the kinds of fish you can find in Dragon Valley. Also this winter came the lost of her best friend Daric.
This is for the Boolprop’s Easter Challenge. In which I’ll have a farming only sim family. Barberry Stirrings was chosen to do this since I had a child copy of her saved when the Stirrings file broke. She was a favorite and I hadn’t found one that I wanted to do for her and this challenge will do nicely for her.
So here is Barberry Stirrings, she had the traits Loves the Outdoors, Angler, and Klepto, then added Handy and Green Thumb for the this challenge. Barberry will be living in Dragon Valley as it seem perfect for this challenge. Now, on to the challenge:
So welcome, Barberry to your new home. It’s not much but it will be a start from the rescue that happened for you unlike the rest of the town. It’s not much but a start for you.
“Not much, I don’t have a bathroom. I have one room.”
True, but you do have a pond and a nice bed and the bathing area is on the backside of the house and you have no neighbors, so you should be good.
Barberry need some seeds to get her garden started and since most of the funds was spent on the property and her new home. So, since Dragon Valley had a community garden and she’ll need to eat quickly, Barberry collect a little bit from the garden to have a variety to plant and eat.
“I think I could pick all of it and then I had have some to sell too.”
No, you will be growing your own, just enough to get you started on your own garden and so you don’t starve before you grow your own food.
Barberry planted what she could of her free starting food to get a started on her garden so that she could get some income coming in.
“Yeah, I don’t know how profitable this is going to be for me and I really want to be worth a lot of simoleons. Also, I need a stove and planter boxes.”
Not at this time as you don’t have the money and you have an outside grill and there’s fresh salad to make.
“No, lettuce for salad. I didn’t end up with any and I planted most of the rest.”
“I need a job so I can eat and buy stuff.”
You have a job it’s gardening so pick something else.
Barberry ends up enjoy an early morning trip fishing that just off the lot. After which she returned home for some food and to check on the garden that’s now spouted.
Barberry loves to fish and it close to the home so now she has some fertilizer for her plants when she get to that level of gardening skills.
Barberry even enjoys a bath in the outdoors.
“No, I really not sure about this tub outside.”
Barberry sends plenty of time on her garden and made a little bit of time to find some seeds around Dragon Valley as well.
Barberry was lonely and had a wish to talk about gardening with the locals, so off to the local library to see if anyone was there. She met Siobahn Murphy and introduced herself and then proceeded to talk about gardening. Shiobahn wasn’t very interested in gardening herself and Barberry didn’t make any friends. But she did stop by the garden to pick up some lettuce for salads and to plant herself.
Though many hours of gardening, Barberry eventually has her first harvest to sell to the local grocery store. It didn’t bring in much income, but she was able to get a pair of planters for the house.
Barberry ended up burned to a crisp from the summer sun while working in the garden in her pj’s again.
“This is not fun in the least and I still will not be able to cool off as my bath is outside.”
Might not have been so bad with a few more clothes on. But you try to see if local consignment store will bring in more money than selling to the local grocery store so you can start making more money from your gardening work.
“And no one is here.”
As the local consignment store was a bust as no one was there, Barberry sold the alchemy ingredients she had grown to the local alchemy store. These ingredients ended up with a bit more money then the regular vegetables that she had been selling.
Barberry was able to sell enough to buy the gardening center to help with the watering of her garden and she can identify any seeds she picks up. The trips to the consignment store for the vegetables does bring in more money but a harvester to help her pick faster has yet to be found there.
Of course all of the bathroom fixtures had to break when she went to use them and it’s getting pretty nasty. Barberry cleaned and fixed them along with experimenting on them to be cleaner.
Barberry’s days are busy with the garden and fishing to catch some fertilizer for her garden. She doing okay but with the fruit trees shedding the leaves fall in around the corner and there will be no crops except what room for the planters in the house.
The fall festival was in town and Barberry visited it to get some socilization in. She even made a friend of Daric Ordhen and they enjoyed a conversation about fishes and gardening.
Barberry made a few last minute collection of seeds that she wanted to find before winter settled in. And making sure she also got the last of the harvest in and put away some to eat on and list the last large consignments to be made at the both stores.
Barberry pulled out the outerwear to make pancake breakfast on her new stove that was purchased with the last things that sold. And she’ll only have a few things to sell now that the garden is caught in winter’s grip. Not that she’s caring as she has free time to skate on her pond.
Barberry spent the winter upgrading the toilet to self cleaning and the stove so it was less likely to catch fire. She did have trepidation about the tub.
“Because I’m likely to freeze taking a bath in the snow.”
Not if you hurry and then get back inside to warm up.
Barberry did some winter fishing as the waters at the river flowed to the ocean so it didn’t freeze up. Barberry did have a small indoor garden with seven planter squished into her house. That she cared for to keep warm. She also did the normally winter activities in creating a igloo to sleep in and a snowman and snow angel. We can’t wait for spring to get here.
A winter gnome appeared as well when she was cleaning up the old newspapers. It’s hip deep in snow. Through she still keeps want to join a regular job instead of farming.
Alum has been waiting to see Thyme and Parsley grow up, so he throws a birthday party for them. Thyme went first to her cake.
Then Parsley had her turn at the cake. Nothing bad happened this time around on their birthday.
Graduation was crowded but the whole family did make it even if it did rain. Parsley earned valedictorian, but it was close.
Thyme had chosen her career as she want to be a interior designer and then bought a drafting table to experiment with after graduation.
Alum wanted to pillow fight with Sage. They had a lot of fun.
Parsley hasn’t decided on what to do for a job, sort of like Chive who doesn’t apparently want to work, he only want to exercise. Parsley is looking for love and has decided to pursue Kim O’Rielly-O’Connell.
Someone had bought a bonfire and everyone wanted to throw a bonfire party. Alum threw one first and then played his new guitar for guests. He had picked up one at a party he had attended and had to have one too. The party lasted a long time.
Parsley has a wish to get married and so she goes ahead gets engaged to Kim. But she had then wanted to have a Bachelorette party, so the wedding will wait.
Chive also wants to get married and so he purposed to Peaches and she agreed. Peaches had gotten pregnant so both wanted to get married.
Parsley had her bachelorette party. There was dancers and she and Thyme spared each other with nectar. Alum is working on his gaming skills to increase his nerd ranking during the party.
Chive and Peaches didn’t have time to get married as Peaches went into labor. They had wanted a boy and Peaches had ate apples, but ended up with a girl named Rosemary.
Chive also wanted a bachelor party, so he threw one and had Alum give a toast and then was sprayed by Alum with nectar. It ended up being outside since they had went and lit the bonfire again.
Alum does get to hold his granddaughter. He loves to rock with her in the rocking chair just like he did with his own children.
Chive and Peaches had their wedding for just family. It was in the afternoon, but storm clouds moved in and by the end it had started to rain.
Alum had gotten Sage a birthday cake, but Sage had went to work and aged up on his way home so Alum didn’t get to see him have his birthday. Sage really does look like Breandan.
Chive has also decided he want to get a job as a self-employed gardener and has taken over Alum’s garden even through he has a harder time in gardening then Alum ever did.
Breandan stayed home with Rosemary while rest of the family attended Sage’s graduation. When the unthinkable happened, Alum didn’t make it through the graduation. A happy occasion marred by Alum’s death. Alum did go peaceably with Grim, but he had extended his life with ambrosia so he did get to see all of his children reach adulthood. The rest of the family was very upset and grieving at the end of the day.
Alum ended up with 384,000 happiness points and had mastered four skills (gardening, fishing, cooking, and charisma) and had a long marriage and 4 children. Thus ended the 3rd and final door of Alum.
Alum despite his heartbreak turns most of his attention to Sage. Alum tends to carry him around and play with him. He also started on Sage’s toddler skills and taught Sage to talk first.
On Spooky day, Alum was invited over to Spencer and Davis’s costume party. Spencer consoled Alum on his loss. While Alum was at the party, Thyme and Parsley went trick or treating, but neither would wear a costume.
Alum ended up leaving the party early since he was a bit worried about his house full of his kids. But they were fine and had went to bed and found food. Alum took the time to teach Sage to use the potty chair.
Alum’s work is going well and he had found a good baby sitter for Sage. And he starts Sage learning to walk after work, but it took several evening sessions to get to Sage to walk. Alum even had received a promotion at work.
Chive and Peaches are very close and Peaches did get her kiss and they went to prom together. They ended up being officially dating after prom.
Alum wished to teach Chive to drive. So they spent a Saturday morning learning to drive. Chive did learn and pass his test. After Chive had passed the driving test, Peaches wanted to learn to drive to and asked Alum for help to learn to drive and Alum also taught her to drive and they became friends.
Soon it was Sage’s birthday and Alum through a small party for him. Sage’s siblings were happy to have cake again. Alum now doesn’t have to hire a babysitter now since they will all be in school.
It’s the middle of winter and Alum made an igloo while watching Parsley and Sage work on homework outside. He and his children love the outside and will spend as much time as possible outside.
Too soon it was Thyme and Parsley’s birthday and Alum wanted to throw a birthday party for them. Both girls had managed to earn an A in school. The girls may be similar likes and traits, but they have different noses and colors.
Alum has been sleeping pretty much since Breandan died in the rocking chair. This night Breandan came for a ghostly visit. Perhaps he just wanted to see Alum or he wanted the rocking chair.
After Parsley and Thyme aged up, Alum wished to teach them to drive, but it got put off a bit with work and school. One evening Alum, took Thyme out to learn to drive first and after a couple of tries she got the hang of it enough to pass her driver’s test.
Snowflake day arrived and everyone in the house was wishing for a gift giving party. Alum threw the party, but Thyme ended up being the only one getting a gift of another easel. Then the gift pile disappeared.
Afterward, the guest decided to find other fun activities to do. There was basketball challenges and then snowman making contests.
Alum got around to fulfilling his wish of teaching Parsley to drive. It was not as snowy for Parsley’s learning. Parsley did pass her driving test and now he has four teenagers in the house that can drive.
Alum wished to fix the broken TV and his kids where a bit worried about him. They had to watch while he fixed it and everything was just fine.
Alum’s also back to tending to his garden after work. I suppose he’s encouraged from his talks with his co-workers and his boss who is his best friend Davis.
Alum became an elder while he was playing with the Grubb set. He’s not all that happy about getting older.
Alum makes sure that he spends time with his kids even with being busy with work and getting older. He has played with several pillow fights and Sage loves his horse. Also, he earned himself a nerd ranking from playing video games.
Spring has come and Alum is glad to be back outside in his garden. He’s wished to grow something and he wants to earn more money and with his perfect produce to sell. Also with the warm weather bringing life to the trees, Alum has accomplished his lifetime wish for a perfect garden.
Alum didn’t wish to throw a birthday party for Sage, so he ended up aging up with Alum and Chive celebrating with him. Sage looks a lot like Breandan as well, just like Chive.
Alum wished to sign up Sage for an afterschool activity, so Sage is now signed up for Debate club.
Alum wanted to see Chive have a great birthday, but only his family showed but he still aged up well with just his siblings and dad and of course his girlfriend Peaches. Peaches also had a birthday as well in the late spring snow.
Alum had the opportunity to bring Breandan’s urn to the science center for experimentation, so when Alum became an elder Breandan’s ghost has joined them. Alum is happy that he has Breandan back even if he is a ghost.
Alum wished to teach Sage to drive. Sage learned to drive without snow on the ground unlike his siblings. So Alum taught all of his children to drive. Through it took a couple of tries, since graduation interrupted their first driving session.
The whole family went to see Chive and Peaches graduate. Chive was valedictorian and voted most likely to be a superstar athlete.
Thyme threw a slumber party. It didn’t go over really great with here classmates. Alum just let them have the house while watching the stars with Breandan.
Alum and a couple of the kids wanted to buy a table tennis set. All of Alum’s kids enjoy the game, Chive most of all.
Thyme, Parsley, and Sage all wanted to attend prom, but no one asked the got with, so they all went together. Thyme ended up elected prom queen and came home with a romantic interest. Parsley got into several fights over not getting a dances and dresses. She didn’t get to dance with anyone. Sage was vote prom king, but was denied a dance and also got into a couple of fights. Also, when they got home Sage was in trouble with Alum because Sage had ditched work to go to prom, but after Sage talked with him, Alum let him off.
Alum got around to fixing the broken computer. He’s became quite handy when he gets around to getting things fixed. Alum is at level nine and has yet to be electrocuted. He has also had another promotion at work and has wished to reach level 10 of the science career. Alum has pretty much flew up the ranks at the science center.
Soon it was the twins’ first birthday and Alum wanted to throw a birthday party for Thyme and Breandan wanted one for Parsley. First up was Thyme to her cake. She’s a really cute one.
However, when Breandan brought Parsley to her cake, the cake exploded into fire that engulfed the entire table and chairs. Dusty nearly burned to death in the flames before the firefighters arrived to put out the fire. Breandan stood to the side holding Parsley while Alum freaked out with the fire alarm going off.
After the fire was safely put out, a new table and chairs was pulled out along with a new cake for Parsley since her birthday needs to go on. This time without fire and she’s cute too.
At the end of the party, Alum and Breandan celebrated that no one died in the fire with woohoo in the new treehouse Alum had bought for the kids. The adults where the first to use it. Alum also wished to quit his job, so now he’s just a stay at home dad.
Alum wished to teach Thyme to talk. He’s only had wishes so far to interact with Thyme, so he seems to currently have a favorite twin.
Alum has been sick again, so maybe they will get a boy like they have wishes for.
Everyone one wants to talk to Thyme so they have to take turns with her. Parsley just enjoys time with her doll. Alum is still throwing up a lot.
Breandan also wanted to get some toddler training in and wished to teach Thyme to walk. Apparently, Thyme is the one one needs to learn her skills first.
Alum played with a stay dog. Then Chive wanted to play tag with Alum, so they ran around the yard playing tag while Thyme learned to walk.
Alum was craving mac ‘n’ cheese and made a bowl of it for Chive’s slumber party. He finished it before the next baby bump popped. Hopefully, it’s a boy as this is probably the last baby they can have.
Chive only had two friends over for the slumber party, but one didn’t sleep downstairs with them.
Alum decided it was time for Thyme to learn to use the potty and started on her potty training. He did eventually get her potty trained through it took many tries.
Grim came for a friendly visit and pillow fought with Breandan. It was strange since no one had died that Grim just came though the front door and engaged Breandan in a pillow fight. Through, maybe he came in person to tell Breandan that his brother Kearney was dieing tonight since when Grim left Breandan mourned the passing of Kearney.
Alum has half of his perfect garden. But hasn’t paid much attention to it lately. He’s kept watered and now is weeding it a bit.
During Alum’s pregnancy, he has kept himself pretty busy. He took a trip to the spa for a spa day and massage. He has also re-read all of the pregnancy books. Alum actually cleaned all of the kitchen up too and played with Thyme as well. The garden stayed watered too. The favorite activity for Breandan was woohoo with Alum when Alum wasn’t busy.
Alum finally wished to start on toddler training for Parsley. First he wished to teach her to talk. Parsley picked that up faster than Thyme did.
Alum also wished to teach Parsley to walk, but didn’t get very far into that. Parsley was hungry, but that wasn’t the main issue. Alum went into labor.
Breandan stayed at home with the kids while Alum went to the hospital. Alum did get his boy and brought home Sage.
There was plenty of snuggles for Sage. Also, Alum finally had time to finish teaching Parsley to walk.
Then came potty training for Parsley. Alum was very serious about it and Parsley was potty trained making her have all of her necessary toddler skills learned.
There was plenty of snuggles for Parsley as well. Seriously, when one of the adults has one of the kids, the other one wants that kid too.
Alum went on a handiness kick. He wanted to fix one plumbing thing which led to wishing to increase his handiness skill which led to another wish of upgrading five more appliances. The shower got upgraded to unbreakable and the toilet upgrade to self-cleaning. Then the stove received an upgrade for better meal quality.
Alum was so busy upgrading, he missed Sage’s birthday. He looks a lot like his older brother Chive did at this age.
After being without a job for a week, Alum wishes to get a job in the science center. He found the job on the computer and will start the next day at the Dragon Valley science center. He gets to escape three toddlers and leave them with a babysitter.
The three toddlers really enjoy looking at the books instead playing with the blocks and xylophone. But at least they enjoy an activity sort of together.
Chive becomes a teenager and his father’s throw a birthday party for him. He favor’s Breandan’s side of the family.
Alum had invited his boss and coworkers to the party because he wants to be their friend. He didn’t get there but finished becoming friends the next day with chatting at work with his coworkers.
After the party Alum and Breandan have a private party together in the photo booth for woohoo. Breandan’s heart is going to give out at some point on how often they woohoo.
Too soon, it was time for Thyme’s and Parsley’s birthday that their parents wanted to throw for them. Thyme went first again. She’s pretty child.
Then it was Parsley’s turn and Alum brought her to her cake this time. And no fire exploded this time either. The girls ended up now having the exact same traits rolled to go with the same favorites. They are so twins in everything but looks.
Alum still shows a favorite by gifting a gem to Thyme that wished for on her birthday.
Chive had missed most of the birthday celebration as he was taking the gem he had gotten from Alum to trade for a special potion for his best friend Peaches. Once Peaches was a real sim, she rolled the wish to have first kiss with Chive. So I guess he made his own girl real.
The party had wrapped up with the guest going home and Chive and Sage where in bed. Thyme and Parsley were not tired even through they start school tomorrow so they were playing with the toys. Alum and Breandan were headed upstairs for woohoo, when Breandan’s heart did give out and it was his time to go. Grim came and took an unresisting Breandan who lived to 97. The family is heartbroken and misfortune seems to visit on the twin’s birthday with fires and grim narrowly avoided at the first one and this one their father died. Alum slept in the rocking chair.
Alum and Breandan sometimes do get enjoy breakfast together before Breandan heads into work. Alum made pumpkin pie for today’s breakfast.
While Breandan’s at work, Alum works on his garden. His life plant was in need of water and weeding if it’s going to come up perfectly.
The urn for the pup Nate was placed by the bed with the last newspaper that he had brought in to them as a memorial for Nate. Breandan is still mourning the loss of the dog. Also, Breandan’s photos he took to learn a skill for work has been hung around the home.
So after multiply tries for a baby, Alum received a fertility treatment reward and one more woohoo without chimes. But this I suspect is not bad food and that the chimes are just vanished from the game for some reason.
Alum will be getting his wish of a child. Through it’s rough on him, as he still getting ill.
Alum wished to buy several new items to prepare for having a child. He ended up with a crib, high-chair, and rocking chair. The rocking chair is already being used. Alum and Breandan both want a boy. Alum enjoyed several of his fresh apples. Alum also visited the spa for a relaxing day and message.
After the spa, Alum stopped by the bookstore to buy some pregnancy books to read. He read one of them while Breandan read the other pregnancy book.
Alum spent time in his garden. He had received a call from the restaurant wanting him to grow some cheese plants, so he started them. But sometimes he just like to go outside and stand in the outside garden just to spend time there.
Breandan was attentive to Alum’s needs and wants as well when he is home from work. Sometimes with just kisses and other times with woohoo and even massage. Sometimes they just spend time sleeping.
Alum wished to fix the TV that’s been broken since his first party. He was able to fix it without any mishaps and now the TV works again.
Alum also made another meal of ambrosia and ate. After eating he went and worked in his garden since he was up early and the weeds were taking over the planter that had the cheese planted in it.
It was during his gardening outside that Alum went into labor. He made it to the hospital to have his baby. They had a son and named him Chive.
Alum tends to just take Chive to rock in the rocking chair. Breandan wanted to take pictures of his son so he did while Alum held Chive. They were hung in bedroom which will be the nursery when the additional bedroom is added.
Breandan and Alum take turns caring for Chive. While Breandan works, Alum stays at home to tend to the garden and Chive.
On Breandan’s day off, Alum took time to get out of the house and go swimming in the ocean. He ended up not staying long due to the weather driving him home.
Chive does sleep a lot so that leaves a free time for Alum and Breandan. When both are at home and Chive doesn’t need them, they enjoy quite a lot of woohoo time.
Chive is an easy baby. It leave plenty of time for Alum to practice some of his skills as well. He found a star and increase his charisma.
Alum may be running himself into the ground. He has taken to just naps in the rocking chair and not sleeping in his bed between skilling and taking care of Chive. He actually missed Breandan putting down Chive for his birthday before going to bed himself. Chive seems to take after Breandan’s family in looks at the moment.
Alum did get up to snuggle little Chive and then change his diaper before putting him to bed.
Alum went to bed after Breandan got up. Breandan wished to teach Chive to talk and got started on that right away. It took awhile and a food break, but Chive did learn to talk.
Alum takes charge of potty training Chive as that’s what he wished to teach his son. Chive learns to potty faster than he learned to talk.
Alum then wished to discover a bladder flow potion. He discovered several different ones, but was unsuccessful in discovering the correct combination for the bladder flow potion and took a break when it exploded.
Breandan didn’t see to mind the slightly burned Alum for woohoo times.
After another unsuccessful try at creating the potion, Alum decided that he would abandon that wish. Instead Alum wished to teach Chive to walk. He got started on it, but Chive was hungry so walk training was put off while he was fed.
While Chive was eating, Alum took a shower and broke the tub. But he at least wished to fix it so when that was completed, Alum finished teaching Chive to walk.
With Chive having all of his toddler skills learned, the dads take time just to play with Chive. Alum seems to have ignored his garden a bit.
No one has cleaned recently and there are a lot of dirty dishes and ruined food left out. Alum has taken to being ill again. He does want another child, so maybe this will be another one or it could have been bad food.
Alum hadn’t left his home since he came home from the hospital with Chive and was getting a bit stir crazy. To get out and since he wants to increase his charisma skill, Alum took a trip to the library to read a charisma book. He was interrupted with the grim coming for my simself and he wondered off to read a different book and wish to revive my simself. He did manage to read a little bit, but ended up more preoccupied with being pregnant again.
After throwing up again, Alum settled back down and read until he finished mastering the charisma skill.
Alum spends some time each day to tend to his garden as he’s trying to grow some excellent cheeses for the local bistro.
Alum wishes for another son. He also has had plenty of food cravings during this pregnancy. He’s had watermelon cobbler which he followed up with more apples. Then later he had to have spaghetti and ice cream. He stayed pretty stuffed at times with food.
Breandan went around upgrading several of the appliances and increased his handiness ability. Alum just had several wishes to rock with Chive so they watched Breandan upgrade the TV.
It was during tending the garden again that Alum went into labor. Alum went to the hospital while Breandan stayed at home with Chive. Turns out that all of the apples couldn’t overwhelm one watermelon and Alum came home with twin girls named Parsley and Thyme. So, neither Alum or Breandan got their wish for a son fulfilled.
Alum put Thyme in the rocker while snuggled little Parsley. It was a bit of a squeeze the first night with a toddler and two new infants.
The next day Alum threw a birthday party for Chive and had a room fixed up just for Chive. The party went off great and everyone showed up. Though most guest either played with Thyme in the rocker or was dancing instead of paying attention to Chive before they got cake.
Alum even wished to give Chive a birthday gift and gave a gem he had found on one of his adventures. Chive was ecstatic to have his own room and a new gem.
Alum wanted to travel with Breandan and Breandan had a work opportunity to go to China and learn the martial arts skill. So they took a trip to China.
Breandan took off to the martial arts academy to learn the skill. Alum wished to buy a fortune cookie machine. He went to the market and brought the machine afterward he wondered back to the base camp.
Alum didn’t wish to do anything else, so he pulled out his snake charmer to practice with. He did end up with a snake at one point during the trip.
Alum and Breandan spent much of day two and day three of their trip flirting with each other. There was also several woohoo going on between the flirting.
Alum did wish to go fishing once and spent the evening before leaving catching some unique fish found in China.
On returning home, Alum wished to propose marriage to Breandan. Breandan was very excited and accepted Alum’s proposal.
Alum wished to throw a bachelor party. And then he had to purchase a buffet table. Alum hopes that the party is a great party. He invited most of the people he had met. And Davis Mithrilen gave a speech at the party.
Alum and Dinny spayed each other with nectar. And rest of the guest was entertained with dancing and food. The party did end up being a great party overall.
Alum was tending to his newest life plant and the rest of his inside garden since it is now winter.
Alum also wished to fix the kitchen sink and then actually washed the dirty dishes that was piling up.
Breandan’s friend Spencer Mithrilen called to have him throw a bachelor party as well. So Breandan threw his bachelor party with Spencer giving a speech. Not everyone show up at this party and wasn’t as good as Alum’s party was. But then Kearnery and Davis stayed past time when everyone else left and Alum and Breandan had went to bed.
Alum was called by the local bistro to provide some excellent produce. Alum happened to have enough on hand from his small garden in the planters to delivery them. Then be finished reading a book before heading back home when he got cold.
Alum is Nate’s best human friend even if he came with Breandan he likes Alum best. Alum does love the little pup.
Winter is full of snow and Alum wished to build an igloo. Which led to wishes of woohoo in the igloo, which he did get.
Alum wished to finally get his wedding done and it was set to 4:00 in the afternoon in hopes of a pretty sunset, but there ended up with snow clouds instead. It was held in the front yard. So they are now Alum and Breandan Stirrings-O’Shea.
Alum had wished to purchase a wedding cake and as soon as the ceremony was finished he went ran in to cut it. Alum might have been a bit hungry. There ended up not have enough seating for all of the guests to sit and eat cake.
It was also Breandan’s elder birthday, so the guest ended up celebrating with him. Breandan turned to an elder like his brother and Alum is younger than him due to the ambrosia.
Being a elder hasn’t caused Breandan to slow down. He is working on mastering the athletic skill. Alum tended to his garden and making sure the weeds where out and that it was also watered.
One of the party guest had broken the kitchen sink again and Breandan wished to fix it. He may have the handy trait, but he’d rather not express it.
Then Alum and Breandan then spent the next few days off of work and there was a lot of woohoo going on, the bed and igloo saw them several times.
The snow is so deep Nate has a hard time getting around outside and also his mate, which was not included his home died recently. He’s a sad pup.
Snowflake day arrived and Alum threw a gift giving party. The regular people that he knows was invited to it and this one not everyone left from. Breandan made a new friend in Dusty Mithrilen, the younger sister of his best friend Spencer. Alum received another chess set, it’s the only gift he every gets for snowflake day. Breandan received a floor lamp.
Alum sister-in-law Susie asked him to cook her some grilled salmon and so Alum delivered her a fresh plate of grilled salmon that he had caught.
They had received several wedding gifts that were unpacked finally. Kearnery sent them a photobooth that they quickly tried out, but the pictures where then shredded. The pictures where hung in the house and the basketball court set outside.
One life plant bloomed with fruit and then Alum wants to grow another one. He also wishes to make ambrosia using perfect ingredients. So, he’ll be trying to grow some better life fruit.
Alum wishes to travel to Egypt and so the plans are made to go for a later honeymoon. They leave the cold of Dragon Valley for some sunny weather in Egypt.
Breandan had an opportunity to disarm an trap for some experience and extra tips on learning to bring back to work. So while Breandan checked out a tomb to find one to disarm. Alum didn’t have much to do, but he did practice his snake charming in the bathroom.
Eventually, Alum got a phone call to bring some copper to one of the locals which was easily done. He was then sent to the special merchant and then sent to retrieve some mummimentorium for a bribe.
Alum had by then wished to explore a tomb and was sent to place the bribe in the lair of criminal network and then hack the computer. After which Alum was sent to retrieve the life relic, but he had to return home before he could find the relic.
They returned home to the broken bathroom which time away has given Breandan then desire to fix a few of the broken plumbing appliances. He fixed the tub and toilet, but didn’t get to the sink. So the bathroom still stays flooded.
The first thing that Alum does after the trip is pet and play with Nate. He’s such a cute pup. Then Alum goes to make some supper for them.
Supper ended up having to wait. Grim comes for their adorable pup. Alum and Breandan are the saddest sims when Nate leaves with the Grim.
Alum deals with his grieving by going out and fishing again. He still has a wish to make ambrosia again and he’s out of deathfish. It took awhile and had caught some vampire fish before he did get a deathfish. Breandan threw himself into work and to mastering the athletic skill.
Alum also spent some time in the library to gain a level in charisma from reading a book on charisma. He wants to eventually master that skill next.
Alum also came home from Egypt with the wish to have a baby. At first Breandan was not amendable to the idea with the death of Nate, but eventually Alum convinced his to try since why not create life in the aftermath of death. They tried but nothing came from the trying.
Breandan likes to spend the money he brought with him. He also bought an art easel and took up practicing painting, which he’s not great at. Alum likes that he’s available to flirt with. Their flirting tends to end in woohoo.
Alum wanted to travel and Breandan was asked by his work to pick up some relics in Egypt so the boys traveled to Egypt. The first thing they did was flirt with each other before Breandan headed out to find some relics.
Meanwhile, Alum went sight seeing. First he went to the market and chatted with the locals. Then he had to go and see the Sphinx.
Then he remembered he was suppose to deliver some gems and finally found the last one and delivered it to the local who had requested it.
Alum then was required to find the first relic and bring it back to local who runs the general store.
That was all of the adventure that Alum was up for. He spent the remainder of the time playing with his snake charming basket. And when Breandan finally got the last of the relics he was sent for, he joined Alum at base camp.
Back at home, the relics earned Breandan a promotion so he’s one away from achieving his lifetime wish and becoming a super spy. Alum is looking to catch a deathfish and got fishing before 6 am. He hasn’t caught the fish yet.
Alum can’t spend all of his time in the graveyard fishing for the deathfish, so he he’s working on his garden at home and he also increased his charisma skills.
Alum wished to grow a money tree to help with expenses. He spent a day searching for the special seeds and then planted in them in hopes that one would be a money tree seed.
Breandan topped his career goals and achieved his lifetime wish. But it seems like being a spy is stressful on him. Alum’s been up late fishing so by the time Breandan comes home from work, Alum has just finished his gardening. If Alum home, Breandan makes a beeline to Alum on arriving home.
Alum and Breandan will spend the evenings together. Alum is such a romantic and loves to get to look at the stars as often as possible with Breandan.
Then Breandan will go off to bed and Alum will resume his fishing for the elusive deathfish. And this time he finally catches one.
Alum wished to grow a life plant so he found a few more special seeds to plant to go along with the others. Hopefully, he will grow a money tree and life fruit plant with these seeds. Alum’s perfect apple tree finished growing, so he’s up to three perfect plants for his perfect garden life time wish.
It looks like two of the special seeds will not be money trees, so they may be life plants and Alum’s plum tree doesn’t produce good enough plums to supply the grocery store with, so he had to start another plum tree and made sure he used his best fertilizers on it.
Alum decided that since Breandan had invested in the bookstore, that they needed to invest their money into two more businesses. With a quick trip to the grocery store to sell rest of his fish and produce Alum had just enough to invest in the grocery store and the local dinner, so they now are partners in three of the local businesses.
Alum found a vampire to chat with while hanging around the park. Seems like Denny Kelly turned into a vampire, pretty sure he’s the only supernatural in all of Dragon Valley now.
Alum has wished to reach level 7 in the angler career that he is in. So Alum now needs to catch plenty of fish to supply the grocery store with to make money toward his goal. It is a very slow progress, Alum is currently at level five and spent days fishing with barely anytime at home.
Alum did make time to check on his garden since it was starting to wilt and it looks like he’ll have that money tree when it finishes growing and pretty sure one of the plants is also the life plant he wanted to grow.
Alum did some more fishing and he is now at level six in his career. He has to earn so much to get to level seven it’s taking a lot of his time.
With the money earned, Alum did get a automatic sprinkler system for the outside garden. Also his money tree is grown and pretty sure his life plant is almost there as well. Alum still needed to weed the plants and check on his plums to see if they were the quality needed yet.
Alum even made time to spend with Breandan. He had been missing his time with Alum it looks like and they had shower woohoo after being in the garden.
Later Alum wanted to watch the stars with Breandan and the enjoyed an evening at home with watching stars and catching up with what was going on with each other.
Alum spent more time fishing for several more days. He tried out several different spots to see if he could find some better quality fish or at least ones that are worth more. A lot of time and hard work went into it but Alum finally reached level seven of his career.
Alum did make a few times to come home and recharge and spend time with his boyfriend and dog as both miss him at times.
Alum wished to take Breandan on a date, so they went to see a movie and then watched the stars afterward. They both found it to be a good date.
With the fishing done, he had room for more wishes. Alum wished to fix the broken sink. I suppose they could use an upgrade to a sink that might not break as much as this one.
Alum’s garden is still growing and the life fruit has crops on it. The trees are starting to get ready for winter since fall is upon them. Soon this part of his garden will be dormant.
During his fishing days, he had wished to learn ambrosia recipe when his life plant matured. Since it required the cooking skill to be mastered, Alum had been listening to cooking podcast while he fished. He finally mastered cooking and taking the profits from reaching level seven in the angler field, the recipe was purchased. Alum came home to read it and learn the ambrosia recipe.
Alum then had to make the ambrosia with his fresh life fruit and a deathfish he had caught. Alum wasn’t’ hungry so he just stood there watching it sparkle.
Alum watched the ambrosia until Breandan got up and came to distract him with flirting. Alum was up for the flirting and then morning woohoo. Maybe he’ll forget about the ambrosia and not extend his life with it.
Alum did eventually get hungry and came back to eat the ambrosia that he had setting out. It was a perfect meal and he enjoyed and now he has a longer life.
Alum sold off his fish and produce and gained the prepared traveler perk so that he could make a quick trip to China to buy some plums to plant and grow for the restaurant. He was able to purchase some plum seeds to plant.
Alum didn’t do to much else after he bought the plums. He read some local books in the bookstore and then went swimming in the the plaza’s waterways. He was joined by a local and he just had a fun day.
The next day Alum visited the martial arts academy and found a chess board to practice on instead of being outside and learning any martial arts skills.
Alum does receive a phone call for an adventure opportunity to retrieve a relic. Alum quickly finds the relic and returns it to the local. Alum had a fun time and didn’t do anything else for the duration of the trip but read and text the locals he met.
The local town had given Alum some money when he had so he had enough to buy a sim grubb set to practice on. And with the snow covering anything he couldn’t plant his plums yet.
Alum did wish to woohoo with Breandan again and Breandan finally agreed to come over. His work as a police officer must keep him busy.
Breandan ended up staying the day and played computer games next to Alum’s new fish aquarium he just had to have. Alum played chess by himself.
And then the full moon was out and Breandan woohooed with Alum again before he left late in the night to go home.
Alum tended his inside plants to make sure their growing and he seems to want to weed and water them.
Alum purchased a telescope and searched the galaxy. He’s not found much of anything and it is pretty cold outside to stay for long.
Alum had Breandan over again. He’s had lots of wishes to date Breandan and Breandan is pretty agreeable with all of Alum’s ideas. Alum even made them officially dating which made Breandan very happy it seems.
Snowflake day arrived and Alum wished to throw a gift giving party. He called up all of the people he’s met around Dragon Valley and waited for them to show up. Alum decided to wish to make Breandan’s favorite food to serve and after finding it out; Alum made PB & J sandwiches to have at the party.
Breandan made out with Alum shortly after arriving while his brother Kearney made out with wife Susie while other guest arrived with presents. After which the party goes down hill, some guest disappear for some alone time together (Kearnery & Susie) and Brian O’Connell was the only one to sit down with Alum and eat the sandwiches.
So only Riordan, Chloe, and Breandan stayed to open presents with Alum. Alum got two new chess boards. The rest of guests had left saying the party was terrible and left Alum with a broken TV and broken sink.
Alum cleaned his stove and then tackled on fixing the broken sink. He wished to fix it and he managed to stop the water from flowing over the floor and the sink is usable again. He, however, did not wish to fix the TV.
During the last bit of winter, Alum decided he need to read a logic book which he had on his bookcase. He also wished to learn the charisma skill, perhaps since his party wasn’t that great he needs to learn to socialize better.
With no snow on the ground, Alum was able to get his plum seeds planted. Hopefully, the weather will continue on the warming trend and see his outside garden grow.
Alum’s wishes deal with two things at the moment, spending time with Breandan and waiting for certain plants to grow in his garden. So Alum has a lot of free time to spend as Breandan works and is not always avaliable and plants need time to grow. He has found time find a hobby in the snake charmer backet he had to buy in Egypt. Also Kearney O’Shea keeps calling to chat with Alum.
Alum had finished tending his garden and showering afterward when he realized it was his birthday. So he had spent his birthday alone.
Alum is not having a mid-life crisis. I suppose he likes how his life is going. Alum wished for a slip ‘n’ slide and had enough funds to buy to buy one. He already loves playing on it. Also, his apple tree had grown and now he wants to grow a better apple tree.
Alum has wished to move in with Breandan. And since he wasn’t willing to come over, Alum tracked him down in the park. It looked like Breandan has been undercover for work. Alum chats with him and asks Breandan to move in and Breandan said yes.
Breandan sells him home and moves in with Alum and the first thing he wanted was a chemistry set. Alum was just glad to have him available for kisses all the time. Breandan is not that great with the chemistry set. He’s also close to reaching the top of his career and achieving his lifetime wish.
Breandan also brought his dog Nate and this pup just tries to play with the ball, but he just a small dog and the ball is large. He’s adorable, also Alum seems to like him.
Alum went through a handiness kick. He wished to fix the clogged toilet and then the broken shower. He then wanted to upgrade something so he added self-cleaning to the toilet.
Breandan still hasn’t been successful in making a potion with the chemistry set. Alum hasn’t minded when he comes to bed stilled burnt by the explosions.
Alum tends to get up later than Breandan does since Breandan leaves for work. Nate the pup get’s Alum up when he’s feeling lonely.
Alum’s gardening is tended to after giving Nate attention. He is still waiting for plum trees to grow and the newest apple tree to sprout. The inside plants are still watered and weeded as well.
